When I first started the Morning Manna daily devotional in 2018, I didn’t even know what Manna really was and why mornings were significant, so it caused me to get into my Bible to search and find the story that talks about it. It’s mentioned in several places, but first in Exodus 16:1.

My desire is that we all be reminded that we cannot live by food alone, but we need the word of God established in us every day on our journey to be more like Christ. And the cherry on top is that we have fun… and now we have a song that can usher us into the space where our hearts, minds and spirits are fertile ground and can be open to receiving the word of God. So that we produce the fruits of faith in our daily lives.
